Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has given an update on which Amakhosi players will be sidelined for their clash with Chippa United.
The Glamour Boys will welcome their former coach Gavin Hunt at the FNB Stadium for a first time since he was dismissed by the club.
Both teams are just separated by one point on the log after Chiefs picked up six points from their opening six games, while Chippa have five.
Baxter has given an update on his player’s availability after the international break, saying Lebogang Manyama suffered a set-back on his previous injury, while a few others are also still sidelined.
“We worked hard with a reduced squad during the international break,” he told reporters.
“We’ve got all players back from the international break today and had an intense session this morning.
“The lads from Bafana are in good spirits and are ok. The other lads from the nations teams came back fully fit.
“Unfortunately, Lebo Manyama has broken down again. Se he is back to rehab program. Samir (had his) operation, it’s too soon to say anything.
“Leo Castro is working hard on getting back, (Dumisani) Zuma is working hard on getting back and Siya (Ngezana) is also not ready to play, not anywhere near to playing for those players.”
Chiefs faced Chippa on Saturday at 17:30.
