Bayhill Name Trophy After Late Founder

The Bayhill tournament have announced that they have honored the late Roger Clayton by naming the trophy after its one founder.

This youth tournament was found in 1989 and Roger Clayton is one the people that played a huge role in making sure that this tournament becomes successful.

They announced this honor for Mr Clayton, who passed away in 2020, at Thursday’s draw for next months tournament.

The other announcement which was made is that each team is allowed to have up to three over-aged players but not older than 21 years old.

The organizing committee is also in talks with SAFA and government whether fans will be allowed to be in stands. They did confirm, though, that in case supporters will be allowed to watch the tournament they will need to produce ahttps://www.idiskitimes.co.za/sa-stars-abroad/ubuntu-graduate-heads-to-belarus/ vaccination certificate.

Meanwhile all 32 participating teams were drawn into eight groups. Defending champions Highlands Park were drawn in Group A alongside cup favorites Ubuntu Football Academy.
