Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe star Khama Billiat says it will be a tough match on the weekend against Chippa United, especially with their former coach Gavin Hunt in charge.
Chiefs are currently 12th on the DStv Premiership table, with Chippa just one point and one spot behind in 13th.
Having returned from international duty, Billiat says they are now focussed on a tough game against Hunt and Chippa, but he says it is time now for the Amakhosi to start getting results.
“Ja, we’re back, shifting the focus, we are here now, not easy, on the weekend it is going to be a big fight,” Billiat told the club’s media department.
“We just going to make sure we stick to our game plan, and we believe in our game plan.
“And we feel good, I feel good. And I think is the time for us now, to start to get those little things that makes the difference, scoring more goals, and defending our goals as a team, going forward as a team, and just be on on top of our game.”
Billiat also says Hunt knowing most of the players from his time at Naturena makes the tie harder but they want to collect maximum points.
“It’s not gonna be easy, especially playing coach Gavin, that he used to be here and he knows players individual(ly), and his experience as well, you know,” he added.
“So it’s not gonna be easy, but it’s a great opportunity for us to play him now, and put ourself in a in a better situation than where we are right now and start collecting maximum points.
“But we need to work hard for it, it’s not gonna be easy, it’s gonna be very tough. It’s just going to need us to want it more, and make sure we do what the coach wants.”
