Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has sent a message to Amakhosi fans after his Man of the Match performance in the Soweto Derby against Swallows.
Billiat assisted Keagan Dolly’s opener before scoring a brace himself as Chiefs beat the Dube Birds 3-1 at Dobsonville Stadium, which resulted in Brandon Truter and his technical team being sacked.
Billiat, though, was very happy with his side’s performance and thanked the club’s fans for their support throughout tough times.
“Hey Amakhosi, Gaucho here. Thank you so much for your support,” he said after the match.
“It’s not easy for us but we receive all your messages and we receive all your support through social media, phone calls and sms.
“We just want to thank you for being with us through the hard times and yeah, we miss you so much. We miss you so much, we miss singing with you after the game.
“Thank you so much, Amakhosi for life.”
The result saw Chiefs move into second spot on the log, eight points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a game in hand.
