Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that São Tomé international Jardel Nazaré is on trial with the Glamour Boys.
The 26-year-old is currently without a club and was last on the books of Georgian side FC Saburtalo Tbilisi.
He was born in São Tomé and represented his country six times, including both Africa Cup of Nations qualifier-defeats against South Africa.
He can operate as a left-back or left midfielder and has also played in Portugal at Oleiros, Uniao De Madeira and Naval 1 De Maio, and spent two seasons in Lithuania at FC Stumbras.
It is with the Lithuanian side where he gained some UEFA Europa League experience in the past, featuring twice in the qualifying round.
