Orlando Pirates starlet Simiso Bophela has explained what the coaches told him he must do to feature for the club.
Bophela has spent his time with Orlando Pirates in the youth development since 2017 before he was loaned out to Sekhukhune United early this year.
The 21-year-old has returned to the Sea Robbers in June from Ba Bina Noko after his loan was ended and has high targets for the coming season.
“What I bring to Orlando Pirates is making sure I score goals, create more goals as well as win title for the team,” he told Pirates TV.
“For this season I’ve set goals for myself. I’ll score and make sure we win DStv Prermiship, Nedbank Cup then we’ll see from there.”
Bophela also revealed that he has spoken to Pirates coaches Fadlu Davids and Mandla Ncikazi, who told him he will get his chance, if he earns it in training.
“I have spoken to the coaches, they said if you work hard we will give you a chance, but if you do not work hard and think things will just happen you won’t get a chance,” he added.
“So, I will continue working hard and when given a chance, I will make it.”
