Bvuma Looks Forward To Face Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has insisted the club’s objective is to win the Nedbank Cup after being paired with TS Galaxy in the round of 32.

In 2019 Amakhosi lost in the Nedbank Cup final after a 1-0 shock loss to the Rockets, who were still in the GladAfrica Championship at the time.

Bvuma, though speaking ahead of the match, has emphasised that, while respecting Galaxy, the Glamour Boys are ready to face the challenge once again.

“Nedbank Cup is one of the cups that I managed to get my victory when I started playing and the team, coaches trusted me,” he told club’s media department.

“It was this cup when I started doing my best, and started performing, so I know how big it is, I know how important it is, and also as a team, we are looking forward to it. And we know how TS Galaxy they play. I believe we are prepared and ready for them.

“It’s a very great initiative, of course, and we’re looking forward to the season going all the way and winning it.

“The last one that I played was painful because that’s when we lost against TS Galaxy in the finals back in 2019, so we’re looking forward to playing against them and going all the way out and winning this.”

Chiefs will face the Rockets at the FNB Stadium on Saturday at at 18:00.
