Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro says that the Nedbank Cup is an important tournament for the team, and they want to start on the right note on the weekend against TS Galaxy.
Castro had missed a great deal of the season through injury, and had only started his return for the club in December just before the January break. He has played in just three leagues this season.
The Argentinian says they are focussed on doing well in the cup, and the tournament is important to them.
“Nedbank Cup is an important tournament for us,” Castro told the club’s media department.
“Each and every tournament we take it serious and we we have to take it in the in the right way and for us, start on the weekend, and obviously we have to give our all and continue into the next step.
“They (TS Galaxy) have a quite a good team.
Obviously we all know each and every team from PSL when when they come to compete against Kaizer Chiefs, they play their life.
“So for us It is just to to remain who we are and where we want to be.”
Castro also can’t wait to get his name on the scoresheet again, and to show his value for the club.
“Yeah, hopefully, the next game!” he replied on when he plans to score next.
“I want to celebrate, I want to do my celebration and also show I still have the hunger and still have the the desire to to play and to win for Kaizer Chiefs.”
