Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed which players will miss Sunday’s match against Sekhukhune United, apart from Covid-related cases.
The Glamour Boys confirmed earlier on Friday that they are back in training and preparing to face the newly-promoted side, who currently sit in second place.
Chiefs stated that a sizable number of the Amakhosi ranks are still in isolation, meaning several reserve team players have been called upon to work with the senior team.
The club, though, did not mention any names as to which players have remained ruled out due to testing positive, but they did confirm that S’fiso Hlanti and Samir Nurkovic are remaining sidelined due to their long-term injuries.
In addition, Cole Alexander will be sidelined with suspension, while Dumisani Zuma is also not available after the club suspended him due to his drunk-driving incident.
It remains to be seen which players Chiefs will be able to field and which technical team members will be on the sidelines, but they did confirm they take part in Sunday’s fixture after not honouring their games against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows.
