Kaizer Chiefs have released an official statement on Dumisani Zuma after he was allegedly arrested for drunk-driving.
The club did not want to comment on Zuma’s alleged offence but confirmed they are looking into the matter and will conduct a disciplinary hearing with the player.
“Kaizer Chiefs has noted with concern the reports about its attacking midfielder Dumsani Zuma in the media,” the club stated on their website.
“The Club is currently conducting investigations about the reported incident.
“We view the matter in a very serious light and the player will be subjected to a disciplinary hearing in the next number of days.”
Zuma hasn’t featured for Chiefs this season after picking up a serious injury in the end of 2020/21, but had returned to training in recent weeks.
