Chiefs & Simba Line-Ups Announced

Kaizer Chiefs will face Tanzanian giants Simba SC in their first ever CAF Champions League quarter-final today – here is how both teams line up.

Gavin Hunt’s men enter the game on the back of a below-par domestic run, having won just two of their last 15 games in the DStv Premiership.

But despite their domestic struggles, the Glamour Boys have played an incredible CAF campaign, reaching the group stages and quarter-finals for a first time.

Chiefs are unbeaten in eight of their nine CAFCL games this campaign, while Simba only lost one match to defending champions Al Ahly.

The visitors have won four of their six games this campaign, as many as in their previous 12 matches in the competition combined.

Simba enter the game on the back of a strong domestic campaign, having last lost a Ligi Kuu Bara game in October.

Amakhosi, though, are unbeaten at home in the Champions League this season but will need a strong performance on Saturday to continue this run.

Hunt confirmed that Khune, who would be suspended for the first leg, and Khame Billiat are still sidelined with injuries.

Here is how they line up:

Kaizer Chiefs XI: Bvuma, Mathoho, Ngezana, Frosler, Zulu, Blom, Manyama, Zuma, Parker, Cardoso, Nurkovic

Simba XI: Manula, Lwanga, Pascal, Mugalu, Bwalya, Miquissone, Kapombe, Mohamed, Onyango, Chama, Mkude
