Chiefs Without Five For Leopards
Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed they will be without five key players for the clash against Black Leopards on Wednesday.
The Glamour Boys had little rest after their heroics in the CAF Champions League and will now return to DStv Premiership football.
Amakhosi could move back into eighth spot, if they were to beat bottom-placed Leopards today.
However, they enter the game on a horrible domestic run, having won just two of their last 15 DStv Premiership games.
Gavin Hunt, who celebrates his 900th career game in the dugout, will have to do without several key players, with Willard Katsande and Njabulo Blom both suspended, while Dumsani Zuma and Lebohang Lesako join Khama Billiat on the treatment table.
“We have had endless problems for every game. Players have not all been available right from the start of the season,” Hunt said ahead of the game.
“That is what it is, we just have to take this game in front of us on Wednesday. We are going to have a lot of players out on Wednesday due to suspension and injury, so we will have to work with those who are available.”
The game is set to kick off at 15:00 at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday.
