TS Galaxy Interim Coach Zipho Dlangalala was encouraged by his team’s performance after they fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Baroka.
It was Dlangalala’s first game in charge since the club parted ways with Dan Malesela.
The former AmaTuks coach says they could have won the game, as they had the chances, but he will take the point considering the situation of the match.
“We always want to win matches when we play especially if you look at the way we played,” Dlangalala told the club’s media department.
“We are competitors and we will take this point. At least, it wasn’t a loss.”
“With all respect to the opponents, I feel we should have wrapped this game up. The team showed the control from the beginning. We had chances when we were 1-0 down, even at 2-2. One will take this point and build on it. The next game should be better.”
“It is very encouraging that we scored two goals in two games running but we need to tighten up at the back. Unfortunately at this point in time, the goals that we are conceding do not come from organizational situations.”
“We’ve made individuals mistakes and conceded but we will help and encourage the players to do better and avoid those mistakes. I think, it is possible and we are positive. They should come right. It is just a matter of time. Hopefully, it will come sooner than later so that we can start scoring goals and keep clean sheets at the back.”
