Teams news is in as Orlando Pirates are set to host Cape Town City in a DStv Premiership match at the Orlando Stadium this afternoon.
Pirates will be looking for a victory to see them return to second position on the log, while City are chasing a place in the top eight. Pirates are currently fourth, while City are in ninth position.
In October last year, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Cape Town in their previous meeting.
They have played each other 13 times in all competitions since City’s inception in 2016, with three wins apiece, while there have been seven draws.
Pirates have made two changes to the team that beat Royal Leopard on the weekend. Captain Happy Jele is on the bench with Ntsikelelo Nyauza starting in his place, while Fortune Makaringe replaced the injured Thembinkosi Lorch, who is not in the match squad.
Meanwhile City have given a first start to former Cameroon under-20 star Brice Ambina.
