Mike Makaab, the agent of Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah, says it’s still early to talk about any possible European move for his client.
The 24-year-old defender, who joined the Soweto giants at the beginning of the 2021/2022 campaign has been recently tipped for a move to Europe after a great start to the season with the Sea Robbers.
However, though Makaab believes Ndah is one of the best defenders in the league, he says he should focus on continuing his promising Pirates career before moving to Europe.
“It’s premature to even talk about something like that,” Makaab said on Gagasi FM.
“I am a firm believer in setting strong foundation blocks before you move, and if the move happens, it means that Ndah has got to have a fantastic balance of the season with Orlando Pirates.
“And he’s got to build on his start at the club and on and a promising career with the Super Eagles.”
Ndah made his Africa Cup of Nations debut for Nigeria in the ongoing campaign and has played 13 matches for the Buccaneers this season so far.
