Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Dumisani Zuma is back in training with the club after his suspension over alleged drunk driving.
The club had suspended Zuma from “all club activities” in November after he was caught drunk driving ahead of the Soweto Derby.
The club conducted their own investigation into the incident, which saw the player being arrested but released on bail, and subsequently suspended him and also stated he will attend rehabilitation.
Ever since the news broke, it had gone quiet around Zuma, with no further statement published by the club.
However, he has now appeared in pictures of Amakhosi’s recent training camp in the Western Cape, showing Zuma back in training.
When asked for a comment by iDiski Times, Chiefs Communications Manager Vina Maphosa did state “he is back in training,” without giving further details.
Zuma hasn’t featured for Chiefs this season after picking up a serious injury in the end of 2020/21, but had returned to training before his ordeal.
