Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Arthur Zwane has praised two of his player after their 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United.

Amakhosi beat Sekhukhune thanks to a first-half goal by Ramahlwe Mphahlele, who netted at Emirates Airline Park 15 years after making his professional debut – then for Swallows – on the same ground.

Zwane highlighted Mhahlele’s overall performance, saying he helped Siyabonga Ngezana, while he also praised Sabelo Radebe for his display in midfield.

“At this level, you want to win games. Sometimes you win them scrappy like this one second half. What’s key right now is to grind results, build on that confidence and help the boys to start believing in themselves even more,” he said on SuperSport TV.

“But what I’m happy about is seeing Sabelo Radebe fighting and fit in so well. I’m happy for him. Hopefully, he’ll start enjoying himself because he is one player that is very, very good on the ball. At Kaizer Chiefs we want to play football, we don’t just want to kick the ball forward.

“So I’m happy for Sabelo and many other players as well. Rama as well, he led the team very well at the back and guiding Siya [Ngezana] as well.

“Siya started very, very slow but during the game the confidence got better and I’m just happy for them and let’s hope we take this to the next game.”
