Eight Signings Already Done By Chiefs?
Kaizer Chiefs have been busy behind the scenes and have all but concluded eight signings for the new campaign already.
Winds of change are ringing at Naturena after Stuart Baxter and Molefi Ntseki were added to the technical team.
But Chiefs are not just aiming to improve off the pitch, they have also worked tirelessly to improve the squad for the coming season.
This publication understands that eight signings are basically done already, while Tercious Malepe could be the club’s ninth signing ahead of 2021/21.
Amakhosi are aiming to conclude his deal before the Olympics, which would make Malepe signing number nine for Chiefs for next season.
He would follow the additions of other free agents like Brandon Peterson, Sifiso Hlanti, Phathutshedzo Nange, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Sibusiso Mabiliso, and Sao Tome and Principe left-back Jardel Nazare – who has been training with the team for the past month. Ruzaigh Gamildien and Njabulo Ngcobo have also been linked as possible purchases.
Chiefs two-window transfer ban by FIFA will expire by the end of this month, allowing the club to officially register players from 1 July.
