Richards Bay are the 2021/2022 GladAfrica Champions and have been promoted to the DStv Premiership, while AmaTuks and Cape Town All Stars will compete in the promotional playoffs.
Who will join them in the playoffs will only be decided next week in the final of DStv Premiership fixtures, with four teams still mathematically capable of finishing in the 15th spot.
On Sunday afternoon the GladAfrica Championship was wrapped up, and with the top three and the bottom-two relegated teams already decided, The focus was only on two matches, to see which of Richards Bay or AmaTuks would be champions
Richards Bay hosted Cape Town Spurs, knowing that a win would guarantee them the title, while a draw would be enough unless AmaTuks beat Hungry Lions by a huge margin. In the end, it ended goalless, but that was enough for Bay to be declared champions.

AmaTuks ended in second place, after playing out to a goalless draw against Hungry Lions, while Cape Town All Stars finished third, despite losing 1-0 to JDR Stars, who finished fourth..
Venda Football Academy have had a terrific debut season in professional football, and they ended the season in fifth place, after a 1-1 draw against Free State Stars.
In other results, Platinum City Rovers were hammered by Black Leopards, who ran out 5-0 winners. Pretoria Callies went down 2-1 to already relegated Jomo Cosmos, who ended the season with two consecutive wins to move above TS Sporting, Uthongathi beat TS Sporting 1-0, as they ended bottom, while Polokwane City moved to sixth after beating Tshakhuma 4-2.
