Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo as applauded how Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Khulumani Ndamane has fitted in like a glove since his move to the Tshwane giants.
The 22-year-old left-back joined the Betway Premiership champions at the resumption of the current season but was immediately loaned back to TS Galaxy.
Since arriving at Chloorkop, the former Kaizer Chiefs academy product has featured 25 times across all competitions notching up two assists.
He has continued his fine form since the Rockets days and has consistently delivered performances that has seen his name being included in coach Hugo Broos’s squads.
Khumalo has nothing but praise for the lanky defender but also paid tribute to how his former employers groomed him and other players.
“I must give credit to TS Galaxy for a sterling wonderful job they have done with these players,” ‘Mdokies’ said on the 10Bet Podcast.
“TS Galaxy, I must give Tim [Sukazi] and the technical team [credit].
“Sometimes, we keep a blind on the good things, but Ndamane arrived at Sundowns and fitted in like a glove.
“Without any panicking moments or anything. He was thrown in the deep end against couple of teams, he played very well.
“I remember I think it was Mpumalanga, Mbombela, I think he got man of the match if I’m not mistaken, but one of the games he got man of the match.”
