Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana has dedicated his Puskas nomination to the late Anele Ngcongca.
Kekana received his second Puskas nomination in four years, for the goal he scored against Cape Town City in August last year.
After receiving his nomination, Kekana tweeted, “As a club we are still mourning the loss of our brother.”
“In training we feel it.”
“Amidst the sadness, it is difficult to process this and I have to dedicate this nomination to my brother #16 Anele Ngcongca 🙏🏿”
The 33 year old Ngcongca passed away after a car accident on Monday. The former Racing Genk defender had spent the past four years at Sundowns.
