Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma was correctly penalised with an indirect freekick for a Law 12 infringement, according to former PSL referee Victor Hlungwani.
This comes after the Amakhosi goalminder was adjudged to have picked up the ball on two occasions within a space of a few minutes in his 18-yard area.
The incident resulted in Magesi being awarded an indirect freekick in the box though Bvuma was able to make up for his earlier mishap and keep it out.
‘The Principal’ has since broken down the incident and why referee Olani Kwinda made the decision to award the set piece to Dikwena Tsa Meetse.
“Here’s Bvuma clearly holding the ball there, now he stands up and moves all around,” he said on Soccerzone.

“As he moves around and then he holds it again and that’s an infringement of Law 12. That is indirect freekick.
“So, indirect freekick was awarded in this situation.
“As you can see, he’s moving, he’s moving and when he holds it [picks it up], that’s an indirect freekick for holding the ball a second time.”
