While happy with the scoreline and the goals scored, Kaizer Chiefs Coach Gavin Hunt says he was not pleased with the overall performance in Chiefs’ 3-0 win over TTM on Tuesday.
Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Lebogang Manyama and Happy Mashiane were on target for the Amakhosi, but Hunt said his team looked a little tired, and some of the play was a little sloppy.
“I don’t think it was a great performance, look the scoreline reads 3-0, but I think we looked a little bit heavy, legs looked a little bit tired, mentally, physically as well, you know it’s been a bit hectic,” Hunt said in the post match presser.
“The most important thing was trying to get a result, try keep ourselves moving in the right direction, that’s the most important thing.”
“I think we scored some good goals but other than that there was some sloppy play, things we need to work on on a daily basis, but the result’s the most important thing.”
