Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has reacted to Kaizer Chiefs latest defeat in the DStv Premiership.
The 56-year-old celebrated his 900th game on the sidelines, but did not have much reason to smile after Amakhosi lost to bottom-placed Black Leopards.
The Glamour Boys scored the opener but Leopards pulled two goals back to collect an important three points in the relegation race.
Hunt lamented his side’s missed chances as well as errors at the back after the 2-1 defeat.
“Good start, you know. We had a great chance to make it 2-0 and they had the one just before half-time, very well taken,” he told Chiefs media department.
“We’ve got to defend better. We’ve got another great chance when it was 1-1, but they got the second one.
Despite picking up just two wins in their last 16 DStv Premiership games, Hunt did not want to lay too much blame on his players.
“The players worked hard, worked hard. As best as they can,” he added.
“We’ve got two games left, we’ve got to keep going.”
Chiefs have two more leagues games left, facing Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy.
