Kaizer Chiefs Head Coach Gavin Hunt has hailed the performances of Bernard Parker, who has played in the midfield for the past few games.
Parker captained Chiefs to victory in Sunday’s 1-0 Soweto Derby victory over Orlando Pirates.
Hunt says that Parker has been a stand out performer for the team in recent games in both the CAF Champions League and DStv Premiership
“Outstanding, in midfield, obviously I didn’t have any midfield players really and we played him in the midfield,” Hunt said after the derby win.
“I’ve been playing him in the midfield for the last couple of games and he’s been excellent for us.”
“He was excellent in Angola, unbelievable in our previous game as well, so he’s been very good in midfield and it was a real honest performance, so that was good.”
