Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt was left fuming after watching his team slump to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Orlando Pirates on Saturday afternoon.
The Amakhosi now find themselves with a mountain to climb in the second-leg of their MTN8 semi-final, and although the coach chose to not say too much, he voiced his frustration in regards to two departments of his team.
“There’s not much I can say, long road, a lot of work. We’ll battle on, try regroup and go again,” Hunt told SuperSport straight after the game.
“We haven’t scored a goal in four games now with the strikers. The defending is something, a lot to be desired.
“To be honest, I don’t think it is a 3-0 game, if I’m honest. Turnovers, then a big long ball around the back of us. A lot of work to do.
“There is a lot I want to say, but I’ll rather just reserve it. There is a lot to be desired by us. Overall, I don’t want to say too much.”
