Junior: I Am Hurt

Former Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye has been left hurt by their 3-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg on Saturday.

The popular iDiskiTV analyst boldly predicted before the game that the Sea Robbers would have the upper hand in the tie.

But like many fans, Khanye has been left heartbroken after watching the Amakhosi suffer a heavy defeat against their fierce rivals.

“This scoreline is very touching, this result broke a lot of people’s hearts,” Khanye told iDiskiTV.

“Even I am hurt by what I saw. At the age of 17 I played for this club, I love this club, but Kaizer Chiefs structure is dead.

“You cannot build a house on a bad foundation. Five seasons without a trophy tells you a lot about what is wrong with this club.”

The result leaves Pirates on the front foot ahead of the second-leg, having prevented Chiefs from scoring and owning a three-goal advantage.
