France manager Didier Deschamps has confirmed that Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante is set to feature in the friendly against Bafana Bafana on Tuesday, but there are doubts over Kylian Mbappe.
Neither French star featured in the international friendly 2-1 win over Cote D’Ivoire on Friday.
Deschamps has now said that Chelsea’s Kante will be available for the Bafana game, but said Mbappe, who was named on the bench on Friday, has an ENT infection, and will need to assessed.
“(N’Golo) Kante will be there for the second match,” Deschamps told the press according to Sports Illustrated.
“(Presnel) Kimpembe is better and will do the session.
“Kylian (Mbappe) is not going to do the session because of an ENT infection. I will take stock with him and the medical staff tomorrow.”
