Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has spoken about Brandon Petersen’s return to the side saying it means a lot in terms of stability.
Petersen suffered a medical set-back just before the Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates in February which required surgery. He missed five matches with the side conceding five goals in his absence.

The Amakhosi goalkeeper is currently on 12 clean sheets in his 17 league appearances. He returned to action in the side’s 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy over the weekend a result that saw Chiefs remain in third position with 42 points and with eight matches remaining to play.
Kaze said he’s happy to have his skipper back saying he brings confidence, stability and leadership in the side.
“About Brandon, he’s a player, he’s our captain and he is a player that gives you confidence,” said Kaze.
“A player that gives you that stability as well at the back. He’s a player that is a leader on, off the field as well and we are happy that he’s back.
“I hope that his performance will be good going forward.”
Chiefs are next in action against relegation-threatened Magesi FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.
