Kekana Pays Tribute To Decade At Downs
Hlompho Kekana has posted an emotional tribute to his time at Mamelodi Sundowns, celebrating the decade anniversary since he joined the club.
The 36-year-old is yet to feature this season for the league champions, and last season was used sparingly, as he featured in just nine DStv Premiership matches, and 15 in all competitions.
But despite limited appearances, he lifted his seventh league title in his career, and has won every major tournament on offer for a South African based-player, bar the MTN8 trophy.
Kekana famously led Sundowns to the 2016 CAF Champions League title, and also won the CAF Super Cup with Masandawana.
Overall the former Black Leopards, SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic star featured in over 300 games in all competitions for Sundowns (scoring over 50 goals).
Kekana also has 30 caps and five goals for Bafana Bafana, including his Puskas nominated strike from his own half against Cameroon.
