Mamelodi Sundowns striker Kermit Erasmus says he is happy to have recently scored his 50th goal in the Premier Soccer League.
Erasmus, who joined Sundowns from Cape Town City at the start of the season, scored his 50th league goal, when he got on the scoresheet against Stellenbosch last month. It came in his 173rd league appearance.
“It’s a good feeling! Hopefully the next fifty comes in fewer games and I am hoping to climb higher and see where I will be when my time to retire comes,” the former SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates striker told the Sundowns site.
“Stats are very important as it shows the hard work you put in behind closed doors and the sacrifice you make to achieve goals that you set for yourself.”
Erasmus is currently 14th on the list of all-time PSL goal scorers.
