Khanye: I Will Say It As It Is

iDiskiTV analyst Junior Khanye believes that Bafana Bafana’s 2-0 win over Sao Tome is not an indication of the current strength of the squad.

South Africa took the lead through a Percy Tau penalty before Bongani Zungu wrapped up the three points late in the game.

Khanye, talking to iDiskiTV, said he believes that the squad will struggle against more structured opposition.

“I will put it as it is, I don’t care who says what. South Africa must appoint a knowledgeable coach,” he said.

“This team will struggle against structured teams. SAFA has a long way to go, let us not be fooled by this result.

“The coach has inconsistent player selection, some of the players don’t deserve to play for the national team.”
