Khune Reveals Compact Cup Money Prize Plans

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has revealed what he will do with DStv Compact Cup money.

Khune was on the poles for the Warriors FC side, only conceded two goals overall—and saw his team crowned champions of the newly formed tournament after beating Coastal United 2-1 in the final at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The seasoned goalkeeper was excited after the match and revealed his plans for his shares in the R1 million that will be shared amongst the team members.

“It’s for my kids, I’ll split it into two and invest for them for the future,” Khune said after the match.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates and Warriors skipper, Happy Jele also expressed his excitement after he led the team to winning the tournament.

“It’s a great experience, I enjoyed myself with different players coming from different teams,” Jele said.

“In camp, it was very nice, the mood was very good, we get along very well. I think this experience it was good for me and obviously for the team.

“I’m happy that we won the game today and lifted the trophy, so yeah, to the Warriors.”
