Chippa United new signing, Siphelele Luthuli, says he hopes to revive his scoring ways once he settles in at his new club.
Luthuli, who was signed this week after parting ways with Royal AM, has no doubt he will improve and find the goals despite spending more than six months without playing regularly since Royal AM took over the Bloemfontein Celtic franchise.
The former University of Pretoria, Ubuntu and Highlands Park midfielder is certain that once he starts scoring goals, then he will never stop—saying he has an eye for scoring goals.
“I think it was an easy decision because Chippa is a really good team,” he told club’s media department.
“I was hoping to come here a long time, and I’m willing to stay here, work hard and improve.
“I decided because it’s been long since I got a game time, and it’s been more than six months that I haven’t played. So, I told myself that Chippa is a big team and I just have to go to Chippa and work hard and play again because I miss playing.
“There’s nothing that is lacking, but what I’m bringing to Chippa is that I’ll make sure that I will score goals because I have got an eye for goals.
“I promise the supporters that I will work hard and work for the team.”
Luthuli, struggled for a game time under coach John Maduka this season, having only played few minutes in one league appearance for the KwaZulu-Natal based club.
