Ma-Mkhize Confirms Royal AM Stance
Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize has confirmed that they will not be honouring Tuesday’s promotion/relegation playoffs fixture against Chippa United.
Royal AM are continuing legal avenues as they look to overturn the decision that saw Sekhukhune United declared GladAfrica Championship winners ahead of the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.
Earlier the club’s CEO Sinky Mnisi had said that the club would not be participating in tomorrow’s scheduled playoff game at Chatsworth Stadium.
Now Mkhize has re-iterated their stance, as they believe the playoffs should not be played until the matter is finalised.
“Violation of my rights to fair completion , it’s not my fault that the three points was not awarded before the last two games of the season was played,” Mkhize posted on her Instagram account.
“I know a lot of you are wondering about what gonna happen with the recent developments – here is where we stand: Myself and the entire @Royalam_fc team are law abiding citizens and we choose to be patient and wait for the proceedings of the court to unfold.
“That being said, we will NOT be participating in tomorrow’s playoffs as that would be going against Judge Nyathi’s ruling! It’s not over yet…🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾”
