Maduka On The Return Of Sibanyoni

Magesi FC head coach John Maduka has broken his silence into the return of striker Thabang Sibanyoni.

Sibanyoni spent the last five months of last season on loan at Magesi from Mamelodi Sundowns and managed to score two goals and one assist and then returned to Magesi this season permanently after he was released by Masandawana.

The 29-year-old came off the bench against Stellenbosch in the 1-1 draw and Maduka highly praised Sibanyoni stating that he will add a lot to that Magesi striking department and they will have to play to his strengths to get the best out of him.

“He is gonna help the team going forward, he is more of a number nine, a box player, he works so hard,” Maduka told the media.

“He plays according to his strength, so we will try to play him according to his strength because we can’t change him to play anyhow. We must try to see his strength and try to play according to that strength.

“I think his gonna help us, because his presence in the box is something else. You could see that after he went in he made a difference.

“The defenders couldn’t relax because they know how dangerous, how deadly he is in the box, so it’s good to have him back.”
