Makhubedu Praises CT City, But Ready For The Clash

Sekhukhune United head coach Macdonald Makhubedu says they know they are facing a very big challenge when they meet Cape Town City in Johannesburg.

Makhubedu described the Citizens as a team that is not easy to collect three points from, but says they’re ready to challenge them.

Much will be expected as it will be the first time for both sides to meet, with Ba Bina Noko campaigning for the first time in South African football’s top tier.

“Cape Town City is not an easy team to play against, they are very quick going forward, they have got good seasonal campaigners from the goalkeeper, the Angolan international a very good goalkeeper,” he told the club’s media department.

“They have a very good back four, and they have a very good technical team, it’s not going to be easy to play against. You saw them against Pirates, against Swallows, they are very difficult side to play against.

“Some of the days they were unlike they could’ve scored more than four goals in some of their games even when they lose you can see they dominate the game.

“But we will try our best on Saturday, our boys want to win, and we did well in the last two games, we want to continue with our good run, we have got everyone on board.”

Ba Bina Noko will host Cape Town City at Ellis Park Stadium at 15:30 for the DStv Premiership encounter.
