GladAfrica Championship side Black Leopards will play their second round league home opener against Cape Town All Stars at Saselamani Stadium, iDiski Times has gathered.
Leopards were set to play their home matches at Malamulele Stadium in the Collins Chabane Municipality, where there was a construction to improve some areas before they could return to play matches.
The Municipality had confirmed a few weeks ago that the stadium is 100% complete and ready to be used as Leopards’ home ground.
However, after the Premier Soccer League’s Chief Operations Officer, Professor Ronnie Schloss went to Limpopo towards the end of January for inspections, Leopards were asked to fix some areas at the stadium.
iDiski Times has been reliably informed that Schloss had decided against the stadium hosting PSL matches, saying the dressing rooms and the pitch are not in a good condition and need some improvements.
Lidoda Duvha are currently training at Mudavula Stadium, that is also under Chababe Municipality and could possibly host a few games at Saselemani Stadium until the construction at Malamulele is complete.
Professor Schloss is expected to return to the venue in the coming weeks to inspect the facility again.
