Speaking ahead of the quarter-final between Black Leopards and Tshakhuma, David Mathebula says that it is an achievable goal for TTM to reach the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.
The two teams meet in all-Limpopo affair on Sunday evening, and the TTM assistant coach says that the team are psychologically in a good space ahead of the match.
While they lost their last game, TTM have shown a lot of improvement in recent weeks, with Mathebula and fellow assistant Mpho Maleka working under the guidance of Dylan Kerr, who is still awaiting his work permit.
“The mood in the camp is okay. I think psychologically we’re in a good space, and we want to go further in the tournament,” Mathebula said in the digital pre-match press conference.
“I think it’s achievable to go to the next round, which is semi final.”
“But it’s not gonna be easy, we playing Black Leopards. They are a good team and they strong on the ball, they like to keep possession, they start from the back.”
“But I believe we’ll do better, and we stand a better chance of winning the game.”
