AmaZulu Head Coach Benni McCarthy was named Coach of the month for January/February, while Peter Shalulile won Player of the month. Thapelo Xoki won the Goal of the month award.
Xoki won for his goal against Bloemfontein Celtic, a fantastic free kick in stoppage time that won the match for AmaZulu, a final score of 4-3, on the 2nd February.
The in-form Shalulile played six matches during this period, scoring twice and getting two assists for Mamelodi Sundowns, the DStv Premiership log leaders.d
McCarthy has led AmaZulu into a top eight position and during the period of judging, he led he team to wins over Celtic, Baroka, Stellenbosch and Kaizer Chiefs. He also drew against SuperSport United and Swallows.
AmaZulu are currently sixth.
