Cape Town City midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane has delivered an inspiring message to his Cape Town City teammates ahead of Saturday’s MTN8 final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
City and Sundowns will play for the first silverware of the season on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Mdantsane, who was also included in the provisional Bafana Bafana squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers, tells his teammates that they must believe in each other, and keep supporting and pushing each other.
“Obviously, just to keep going, the team must keep doing what we’re doing, believing in each other,” Mdantsane told iDiski Times in an exclusive interview.
“And it’s possible. If we all want this, we’re gonna have it.
“As long as we keep supporting each other, as long as we keep pushing each other.
“And ja, everything is possible.
“And I believe in the team, I believe in the coach and the coaching staff, the technical team, I believe in Cape Town City.
“So ja, all I can say is, let’s keep going, let’s keep pushing and let’s believe in each other. Let’s believe that we are going to win this game.”
