Former Orlando Pirates and Zambia, and current Uganda coach Milutin Sredojevic was convicted on two counts of sexual assault and handed a suspended jail term in the Gqeberha Regional Court on Tuesday.
Sredojevic was sentenced to three years imprisonment, suspended for five years for the incident that happened in December 2020.
The HeraldLive reported today that the court had ruled in favour of the complainant’s version, where the coach had been accused of making unwanted advances, and unwanted physical contact with a Barista, working in the VIP section of the Wolfson Stadium.
His legal team was granted leave to appeal the conviction.
