Mkhuma – I Always Put Hard Work First

Mamelodi Sundowns youngster Promise Mkhuma says that everyone at the club has helped his transition into the first team be smooth.

Mkhuma, who turns 21 next week, has featured nine times in the DStv Premiership this season, making two starts. He also featured three times in the team’s CAF Champions League campaign, including coming on as a substitute against Al Ahly last Saturday.

Mkhuma says that hard work and the support of the coaches and players has helped him make the step up this season.

“For a youngster like me coming into the team it has been good, I always put hard work first, for me working hard is not a problem, I just need to stay focused and try to contribute to the team,” Mkhuma told the club’s website.

“I believe that we are doing well as a team. My coaches, all the technical staff and the players have been supporting us youngsters to help us do well.”

“They compliment us when we do well at training and they motivate us when we play games and I think with their support and our hard work we’re fine as youngsters.”
