Mnisi – Royal AM Will Be In The Top 8

Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi says his team will finish in the top 8 this season and others will receive a similar hiding to the 4-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs.

Newcomers AM lost their two opening games of the season, however, they have now won four consecutive games after they played six matches so far.

Mnisi, who has joined the club last year, looked back at last year’s campaign before insisting that his side will still surprise many more people.

“When I tell people that we are going to beat teams, they don’t believe me,” Mnisi said on MLFM SABC radio.

“And this was not the first prediction I did. Remember when Highlands Park got relegated I said we will be promoted and indeed we were promoted.

“I even said we will be on top 8, we were there, I said we will be on finals, indeed we went to the finals so people just don’t believe.

“I came to Royal AM and said we will win the league in GladAfrica Championship, I don’t care what people say, we won the league, and we were number one by the end of the season. Now I say we will be on top 8, and yes we will.

“And I told you after beating Kaizera Chiefs that it is not only Chiefs who will receive four goals, some got 4-2 and actually they (TS Galaxy) had luck it wasn’t a 4-1. It was just a mistake from our goalkeeper for the second goal.

“People are still not convinced that Royal AM is doing a good job and things I have promised them.”
