Mnisi – This Is Not Bloem Celtic
Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi has said people must celebrate what the team is doing, and not try to cause a division in the club.
Mnisi slammed South Africans football fans, saying they focus on negative things instead of positive, like the results that they are producing.
Royal AM had a successful run before the FIFA international break, winning four games consecutively, and only lost their two opening games so far in the DStv Premiership.
“You know the problem, especially our South African brothers and sisters, they like to focus on negative things instead of positive things,” Mnisi told Nyiko Sithole on MLFM SABC radio.
“I heard some saying that by the way it’s not surprising to see Royal AM winning because this is Bloemfontein Celtic players, people are lying, and they are liars, and I’m very angry about that.
“When we played against Kaizer Chiefs, six players that were on the starting line-up are former Royal AM players, starting from the goalkeeper, Manganyi (Samuel) the left back, Mkhize (Zukile) the right back, Mahlasela and Mashiane (Levy), six of those players are our former players.
“So I don’t know why people are jealous and saying that these are Celtic players, it is not Bloemfontein Celtic that is doing this.
“So they want me to say it’s Sinky Mnisi who does this okay? Yeah, I’m telling them now it’s Sinky Mnisi and nothing.
“If a team is doing well they must not say it’s this and that, it is Royal AM who is doing well. Let us not cause divisions, they are all Royal AM players. Let us celebrate that royal AM is here man.”
The former Highlands Park director also joked that if people want to see that he is doing a good job wherever he goes, saying they should let him go to Kaizer Chiefs to show them what he can do.
“People should stop being jealousy, I’m being honest, I’m telling you today. If they want to let them give me Kaizer Chiefs now I will show them what I can do, I don’t need anything.
“There are two things that I can ask from people, if I can go to Chiefs, they must not eat pork, and they must not eat fish, only that, full stop, lets go and play, you will see we will beat people.”
