Mphahlele – We Are Ready To Fight

Ramahlwe Mphahlele says that Kaizer Chiefs know they face a difficult challenge tomorrow in their CAF Champions League first round second leg game away against Primeiro de Agosto in Angola.

The two teams drew 0-0 in the first leg in South Africa, but Mphahlele says Chiefs should have won that game easily.

However he knows it will be a different challenge now, but feels they are more than capable of reaching the group stages with a good result.

“Look we know it’s a very important game for us, and we started training already last year, preparing for this game and the team is looking good,” Mphahlele told Kaizer Chiefs media.

“The boys came back and are looking sharp so we are ready to fight. We know it’s going to be very difficult, as much as we had a good game against them at home – I think we should have won the game at home easily in my opinion.”

“But it is what it is, it’s nil-nil, and it’s a whole new complete different game because they’re playing at home now and they’re going to come.. but we have a big chance of going to the group stages, which is what we came here for.”
