Ncikazi Proud Of His Team

Golden Arrows Head Coach Mandla Ncikazi was proud of his team’s performance in their 3-0 win over TS Galaxy on Wednesday, and he was pleased to break their two game losing streak in that manner.

Arrows are currently third on the DStv Premiership table, with two games remaining in the season.

Ncikazi says the players gave their all out on the pitch, and were fully deserving of the win.

“Just proud that today I’m standing in front of the team after having scored three goals and never conceded, I’m just happy that these players are giving their all,” Ncikazi said after the match.

“I’m happy that today at least we took the chances, even matches that we lost previously, it is not the matches where I would say we played badly, maybe will allow a silly goal and after that create chances and don’t take them. Maritzburg was the same, AmaZulu was the same. I’m just happy that we had the capacity today to break that two match losing streak.”

“I’m happy that these players are giving their all for the badge and happy to be the coach that is standing in front of them currently. And let’s continue with what we planned at the beginning of the season. Try and go as far as we can.”

“There’s still two ‘cup final’s that we have to play, Kaizer Chiefs away from home and Stellenbosch. Get the points there and go as far as possible. Whatever happens at the end, we will always be proud as a team.”
