Ncikazi Ready To Take Responsibility
Ahead of today’s DStv Premiership match against Sekhukhune United, Orlando Pirates co-caretaker coach Mandla Ncikazi says the coaches must take the responsibility.
Ncikazi saw his side share the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Royal AM on Thursday in a league match at home.
The 52-year-old tactician says they have prepared the players more than enough and believes they will win the game.
“We have a responsibility to keep the team in the right spirits. We have a responsibility to see the light when everybody sees darkness,” Ncikazi told club’s media department.
“That’s our responsibility as leaders, that’s our responsibility as coaches, players look in the good shape, players look in a good state of mind.
“And we just have to display that in the field of play, and get to the point it’s really a must that we must win this game.”
Pirates also confirmed the unavailability of their captain Happy Jele, who got injured during the 1-1 draw at home against Royal AM.
The Buccaneers welcome Babina Noko at Orlando Stadium later today at 17:30.
