Golden Arrows Head Coach Mandla Ncikazi says, while they know they are underdogs against league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, they are looking to upset the applecart.
Arrows host Sundowns at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
While Sundowns are top of the league, Arrows are currently sixth, six points behind the leaders, and both sides are still unbeaten in the league this season.
However Arrows have drawn five times and only have two wins in their seven games, picking up their second victory mid-week against Amazulu.
“We have the toughest assignment this week against the deserved log leaders,” Ncikazi said in the build-up to the game.
“The triple champions of last seasons the highest scoring team in the league currently, well coached by the three wise men.”
“Matches don’t come tougher than this one. Our only hope is we haven’t loss thus far, and we will do the unthinkable, where passion and enthusiasm should defeat logic.”
“We are underdogs and Sundowns are obvious favourites. We shall do our best to upset the expected outcome. We have lots of trust and belief in our team.”
