No Draws In Midweek MFC Action

Orbit College remains top after an interesting round of midweek fixtures in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Orbit won 2-1 at NB La Masia for the North West team, that was only promoted ahead of this season, to maintain their three-point lead at the top.

There were no draws in any of the eight games played over two days.

On Tuesday JDR Stars kept up their good form as they beat Platinum City Rovers 3-1. Dan Malesela’s good start at Baroka continued with a 3-2 win over Milford. 

There were also wins for two other Limpopo clubs over teams just relegated from the DStv Premiership. Magesi beat Marumo Gallants, while Black Leopards picked up a good 1-0 over Maritzburg United.

On Wednesday, Hungry Lions stayed second as they beat Venda Football Club, Casric Stars continued with their turn of fortune with a 2-0 win over Pretoria Callies.

Finally AmaTuks scored with ten minutes to go and looked on course for victory until two stoppage -time goals by Upington City turned the result around
